Voters will elect three members on the Del Mar City Council in November. The window for pulling papers for candidacy opened in July.

Three individuals pulled papers: incumbent Carl Hilliard (left), Planning Commissioner Mark Filanc (center), and Design Review Board Member Don Mosier (right). All three have confirmed that they are collecting signatures for their nomination papers and organizing campaign committees. Incumbent Council members Dave Druker and Henry Abarbanel have stated that they do not intend to file for re-election. Therefore the period for filing for the ballot will be extended to August 13.
