| Love Letters in the Sand
Dylan Anderson wanted to make his marriage proposal unique so he hired sandcastle designer, Gregory LeBon (archisand@cox.net), to design a special castle on our Del Mar beach on Christmas Eve. Dylan brought his soon to be bride, Whitney Burns, for an afternoon walk on the beach here in Del Mar. By this time the sandcastle had attracted many observers, especially little girls who wanted to witness Dylan’s proposal.
At approximately 12:30 pm the sandcastle, which read: “Whitney, WILL YOU MARRY ME. -DYLAN, 12/24/09 did what it was supposed to do. For a minute the onlookers were not sure that Whitney accepted the proposal but eventually it was clear that she had. Dylan’s clever proposal won her over. The couple will marry in 2011.
